Aaron Boxton, a classmate of mine and fellow African American, and I are working together. We plan to interview African American students at our high school, Social Justice High School, who represent various personalities, some who we determine fit in with society's media stereotypes, and some who we feel go against societal norms.
We also plan to interview older siblings who we feel either follow or go against media stereotypes.
We will begin interviews today, 5.22.12, and hope to complete interviews by Monday so we can gather our results to create a table that represents our findings.
